Several hundred high school students across Los Angeles staged a walkout on Tuesday to protest federal immigration policies, gathering at City Hall and on the Main Street overpass of the 101 Freeway.
The protests are part of ongoing demonstrations against President Trump’s immigration crackdown.
Peaceful demonstrations caused delays in the El Pueblo area, with Santa Ana students also participating.
