In the first of ten programmes about making your own furniture at home, David Day and Albert Jackson make an easy-to-build shelving system which can be converted into kitchen cupboards, a bathroom cabinet or a children’s toy cupboard. The unit was designed by Alf Martensson, who is on hand to offer advice on how to tackle the various boxed-in shelves.
